More than 30 Ontario \u00a0wineries are participating in this year\u2019s Discovery Pass event.\u00a0 Individual wineries can be visited for a $10 fee or a Discovery Pass ticket can be purchased.<\/p>\n<p>The Niagara Icewine Festival began this past weekend but continues for two more weekends, January 16,17,18 and January 23,24,and 25. \u00a0More than thirty Canadian wineries are participating in the Discovery Pass event are located in Niagara-on-the-Lake or Twenty Valley.<\/p>\n<p>The Discovery Pass is $40 per pass plus HST\u00a0 and is good for eight winery visits.\u00a0 (A designated driver\u2019s pass is available for $30.)Without the pass each winery visit is $10.<\/p>\n<p>Wineries will offer Icewines, wines and cuisine.\u00a0For example, Colaneri Estate Winery will\u00a0 pair an apple crisp dessert with a Riesling Icewine. Their Vidal Late Harvest wine will be paired with a light sponge cake.
