If you can\u2019t use it today, consider using the recipe sometime soon.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span><strong><em>Michigan Vineyards Salad<\/em><\/strong><\/span><span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/span><span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Mixed greens<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Dried cherries<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Sliced pears<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Blue cheese, crumbled<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Pecans, toasted<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span><strong>Vinaigrette<\/strong><\/span><span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>\u00bd c Blushing Crane wine<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>1 T Dijon mustard<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>2 T white wine vinegar<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>salt<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>freshly ground pepper to taste<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>1 c olive oil<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Note: Substitute a blush or ros\u00e9 for the wine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span><strong>Directions for Vinaigrette<\/strong><\/span><span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>1. Reduce wine over medium heat to one-half volume.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>2. Whisk together mustard, reduced wine, and vinegar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>3. Season with salt and pepper.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>4. Dribble oil into the bowl in a slow, steady stream, whisking constantly, until dressing is creamy and thickened and all the oil has been incorporated.
