The contestants are vying for a $5,000 prize. The contestants were chosen at three regional semi-finals. We wrote about the Washington, DC semi-final where we had fun <a href=\"http:\/\/winetrailtraveler.com\/blog\/2016\/09\/23\/maryland-chef-wins-the-washington-dc-semi-final-of-gloria-ferrers-glorious-bites-challenge\/\">interviewing Jerry Edwards<\/a> from Timonium, MD, who won.<\/p>\n<p>Plan now to attend this final <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gloriousbites.com\">Glorious Bites<\/a> Challenge taking place at the Gloria Ferrer winery in Sonoma this Saturday. This is sure to be an enjoyable event. Attendees will be able to enjoy appetizers, wine and a cooking demonstration by Executive Chef Jennifer Luttrell. Appetizers were also judged according to taste and appearance. The judges, who we watched judging the appetizers in Washington, DC, were serious and intense in their concentration while judging each appetizer.<\/p>\n<p>The judges for this final event include Christopher Sawyer &#8211; a sommelier and founder of SawyerSomm.com, Sara Deseran &#8211; a food writer and editor for San Francisco magazine.
