The fig jam recipe calls for J Brut Rose and J Russian River Valley Pinot Noir.<\/p>\n<p><b>Scones with Bacon &amp; Blue Cheese, Fig Jam<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Makes 32 Scones<\/p>\n<p><b><i>Ingredients<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><i>Ingredients for Scones<\/i><\/p>\n<p>2 cups all purpose flour<br \/>\n1\/3 cup sugar<br \/>\n1 tablespoon baking powder<br \/>\n\u00c2\u00bd teaspoon salt<br \/>\n3 oz. cold butter<br \/>\n1 egg<br \/>\n\u00bd cup cream<br \/>\n\u00bd cup bacon, (15 slices), diced and cooked<br \/>\n\u00bd cup crumbled blue cheese<\/p>\n<p><i>Ingredients for Fig Jam<\/i><\/p>\n<p>1-1\/2 cups J Brut Rose<br \/>\n1-1\/2 cups J Russian River Valley Pinot Noir<br \/>\n3 cups water<br \/>\n12 ounces figs, diced<br \/>\n2 cups sugar<br \/>\n\u00bd cup lemon juice<br \/>\nBouquet Garni: 2 sticks cinnamon, 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon allspice, 2 teaspoons cloves<\/p>\n<p><b><i>Directions<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><i>Directions for Scones<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Add butter and mix well. Add egg and remaining ingredients; mix to combine. Place batter on floured surface and shape into\u00a032 (1\/2 inch thick) triangles. Bake in preheated 425-degree oven for 12 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><i>Directions for Fig Jam<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Simmer ingredients in a saucepan for 45 minutes or until thick, stirring as mixture thickens. Remove bouquet garni; refrigerate jam until ready to use. Makes about 16 ounces.
