Several rows of Chardonnay grapes required pre-pruning. TJ Fleming, winemaker and vineyardist, demonstrated the pruning technique and offered words of wisdom from his bible. The vineyards benefit from the Templeton Gap that allows the cooling air from the ocean to rush in and cool the vineyards. In late spring, visitors\u00a0can view the life of the grapevines bursting forth with energy that will eventually result in clusters of grapes hanging from the vines.
