Recipes for Mother’s Day<\/p><\/div>\n

This year celebrate Mother\u2019s Day by spending some time in the kitchen to create a tasty dish for your special Mother. Wine Trail Traveler offers an assortment of recipes<\/a> but also has specific recipe suggestions for Mother\u2019s Day<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Instant Pot Lemon and Herb White Wine Artichokes<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ingredients<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

3 artichokes
\n1\/2 c white wine
\n2 thyme sprigs
\n2 rosemary sprigs
\n1\/2 stick of butter
\n2 tsp minced garlic
\n1\/2 tsp minced thyme
\n1\/2 tsp minced rosemary
\nLemon wedges<\/p>\n

Directions<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Cut the top one third of artichokes off and trim bottom stem flush with the base.<\/li>\n
  2. Trim off the prickly point of each leaf with a pair of kitchen scissors.<\/li>\n
  3. Rub a cut lemon over the artichoke to prevent it from browning.<\/li>\n
  4. Add wine, thyme sprigs and rosemary sprigs to Instant Pot.<\/li>\n
  5. Add rack to instant pot and place artichokes on top.<\/li>\n
  6. Cook on high pressure for 20 minutes.<\/li>\n
  7. Remove artichokes and set aside.<\/li>\n
  8. Remove rack and whole herbs.<\/li>\n
  9. Add butter, garlic, minced thyme and rosemary to the instant pot and turn on saute mode until butter is melted and sauce is aromatic.<\/li>\n
  10. Pour some of butter sauce over artichokes and serve with lemon slices and remaining sauce for dipping.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
