Both times we were able to include wineries in the Grand Valley area (near Palisade and Grand Junction.) These wineries are deserving of recognition and a visit. The area is strikingly beautiful and the winemakers are making quality wines. Imagine that they are getting more degree days than Napa Valley!<\/p>\n<p>This week it was announced that four of these Colorado wineries have formed the Mesas Wine Trail. Wineries include <a href=\"http:\/\/winetrailtraveler.com\/colorado\/whitewaterhill.php\">Whitewater Hill Vineyards<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/winetrailtraveler.com\/colorado\/mesapark.php\">Mesa Park Vineyards<\/a>, Ptarmigan Vineyards and Reeder Mesa Vineyards.<\/p>\n<p>In the press release Ron Neal owner of Ptarmigan Vineyards writes, \u201cOur four wineries provide an excellent, unique wine tasting experience for visitors and locals.
