The winery is opening a tasting room in Old Town Temecula this month. Look for wines and tapas at the tasting room &#8211; \u201cHome of the Spanish Wines &amp; Tapas.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The vineyards and La Mas\u00eda, a manor house, are located in Temecula Valley. The winery\u2019s website explains the term La Mas\u00eda. \u201cIn a sense, they were self contained economic centers which included living quarters for the extended families, shelter for farm animals, as well as black smith facilities to manufacture items needed for the ranch. In modern times The Mas\u00eda connotes the good life where everyone is welcome!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The owner, originally from Per\u00fa has Spanish ancestors. He learned winemaking skills in Argentina. The wines produced by Mas\u00eda de Yabar include Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Muscat Canelli, Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo, Zinfandel, Monastrell and Malbec.<\/p>\n<p>Events at Mas\u00eda de Yabar include Friday and Saturday music and now Spanish Sangria with a Peruvian Flare is available for purchase.
