According to Appellation America, only two other wineries are located in that appellation, Villa Appalaccia and Petit Chateau Winery.<\/p>\n<p>On our visit to Ch\u00e2teau Morrisette, one staff member referred to Ch\u00e2teau Morrisette as a \u201ccastle in the mountains.\u201d  The location of the winery and its architecture inspire one to conjure up fairytales or to think of Hans Christen Andersen tales. <\/p>\n<p>Located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway near milepost 172, Ch\u00e2teau Morrisette is a destination stop.
