We paired the Rosé wine with a simply dinner of chicken, baked potatoes and a garden-style salad.

Roaring Rosé was a deeper pink than many Rosés. The aroma and taste were fruity with medium sweetness. This rosé paired well with the chicken dinner. Roaring Rosé was a blend of Barbera, Nebbiolo and Chardonnay. The wine label is elegant using black and gold colors. The image of a lion in gold is centered with the name of the winery surrounding it.

Leo Grande is located in Goode, Virginia in Bedford County in the foothills of the Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains. When visiting south-central Virginia, be sure to visit the local wineries including Leo Grande Vineyards & Winery. It is a relaxing visit to travel through Virginia’s countryside to reach the winery. We had the opportunity to visit and write about Leo Grand in 2010.
