Ideally this wine would be paired with beef entr\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>The Charles Krug Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 Yountville-Napa Valley offered notes of blackberries on the aroma. The taste was smooth with blackberry notes and hints of raspberry and licorice. The finish was dry with tannins.<\/p>\n<p>The wine was produced with 82 percent Cabernet Sauvignon plus Petit Verdot, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and Malbec.
