Kathy<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jaegerschnitzel <\/strong><br \/>\n<em>(Hunter\u2019s Steak)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Serves 4<\/p>\n<p>Suggested Pairing: Huber Pinot Noir 2005<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4 pork steaks<br \/>\n1 medium onion, sliced<br \/>\n1 cup water<br \/>\n1 Bouillon cube (beef or vegetable)<br \/>\n1 Tablespoon cornstarch<br \/>\n4-6 oz sliced fresh mushrooms, any\/all variety!<br \/>\nAbout 4 Tablespoons olive oil<br \/>\n1 cup sour cream (low fat is ok)<br \/>\nSalt and Pepper<\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Rub salt and pepper into the steaks and brown in olive oil in a large skillet.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the steaks, add the onion to the drippings and brown.<\/li>\n<li>Then add the water and the bouillon, put the steaks back into the skillet and cover and simmer for about 15 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add the mushrooms and simmer for about 5 more minutes.
