Below is a stuffing recipe from Butterball. It is a combination of apples, apricots, golden raisins plus white wine and several other traditional ingredients. Are you going to try the old and true recipe or try something unusual for Thanksgiving?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Turkey with Wine-Simmered Fruit Stuffing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>10 slices oatmeal bread, cut into cubes<br \/>\n1 cup white wine<br \/>\n1 cup chopped Granny Smith apple<br \/>\n1\/2 cup chopped dried apricots<br \/>\n1\/2 cup golden raisins<br \/>\n2 tablespoons butter<br \/>\n1 cup chopped onions<br \/>\n1 cup chopped celery<br \/>\n1\/2 cup chopped toasted pecans<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon salt<br \/>\n1\/4 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper<br \/>\n1 1\/2 cups chicken broth<br \/>\n1 (14 pound) Butterball\u00ae Whole Turkey, thawed if frozen<br \/>\nNo-stick cooking spray<\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong><strong>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Preheat oven to 325\u00b0F. Spread bread pieces on a large shallow baking pan. Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned and dried, stirring occasionally.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Bring wine, apples, apricots, and raisins to boil in medium saucepan on high heat; reduce heat. Simmer 5 minutes or until wine is absorbed. Remove from heat. Cool slightly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Cook and stir onions and celery in butter in large skillet on medium heat 8 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Remove from heat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Stir fruit mixture, pecans, salt and pepper into skillet. Place mixture in large bowl. Stir in bread pieces and broth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Remove neck and giblets from body and neck cavities of turkey. Refrigerate for another use or discard.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Drain juices from turkey. Pat dry with paper towels.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Fill neck cavity with part of the stuffing. Turn wings back to hold neck skin against back of turkey. Fill body cavity completely with stuffing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>8.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Place turkey, breast up, on flat roasting rack in shallow roasting pan. Spray turkey with cooking spray.<\/p>\n<p><strong>9.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Bake 4 to 4-1\/2 hours, or until meat thermometer reaches 165\u00b0F; when inserted in center of stuffing and 180\u00b0F; when inserted in deepest part of thigh.
