\"\"<\/a>While visiting Catoctin Breeze Vineyard<\/a> in Thurmont, Maryland earlier this year, we mentioned to winemaker, Mike Lentini, that we were writing a book for visitors to tasting rooms. Mike enthusiastically said, \u201cFinally.\u201d It seems that a book discussing what to expect and how to act in a tasting room is long overdue.<\/p>\n

The motivation to write A Wine Tourist\u2019s Guide: Visiting Tasting Rooms<\/em> came from an article that we wrote in 2007. \u201cTasting Room Etiquette\u201d for seven years has been the most read article on the WineTrailTraveler.com<\/a> site. It has ranked number one, month after month, year after year. It seemed logical to turn the most read article into a book.<\/p>\n

A Wine Tourist\u2019s Guide: Visiting Tasting Rooms<\/em> has several chapters that wine enthusiasts new to visiting tasting rooms should read. But the chapters are not just written for the new wine traveler. They also include information for the experienced wine tourist. Chapters in the book include:<\/p>\n
