Adding wine to recipes is also an option.\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">The recipe below is for Butternut Squash Risotto from Butterball. Check it out as it also uses white wine. Kathy<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong>Butternut Squash Risotto<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2 tbsp. butter<br \/>\n2<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\"> tbsp. olive oil<br \/>\n<\/span>\u00bd<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\"> cup finely chopped onion<br \/>\n<\/span>2<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\"> cups chopped butternut squash<br \/>\n<\/span>1<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\"> tsp. saffron threads<br \/>\n<\/span>2<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\"> cups Italian Arborio rice<br \/>\n<\/span>1<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\"> cup dry white wine<br \/>\n<\/span>6<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\"> cups chicken broth<br \/>\n<\/span>\u00bd<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\"> cup (2 oz.) grated fresh Parmesan cheese<br \/>\n<\/span>3<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\"> tbsp. coarsely chopped fresh sage leaves<br \/>\n<\/span>\u00bd<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\"> cup lightly toasted squash or pumpkin seeds, optional<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Heat the butter and oil together on medium-high heat. Cook and stir onion 5 minutes or until softened.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Stir in the squash and saffron. Cook 4 additional minutes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Stir in rice and coat evenly with the vegetables.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Stir in the wine. Cook, stirring constantly, 5 to 6 minutes or until the wine is almost completely absorbed.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Gradually add the broth \u00bd cup broth at a time. Simmer, stirring constantly, until the broth is absorbed by the rice before adding more broth. Continue adding broth and stirring until the rice is creamy and firm but not hard in the center, about 20 to 30 minutes total cooking time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Remove from heat.
