Title: Rye Impériale

Ingredients

1/4 oz. of rye whiskey
1/4 oz of fresh squeezed lemon juice (or grapefruit juice)
Jaillance Cuvée Impériale Clairette de Die
1 lemon twist

Note: the Jaillance Cuvée Impériale Clairette de Die is a slightly sweet sparkling wine. It is a blend of Muscat and Clairette. This low alcohol, 7%, wine is ideal as an aperitif or used as a base for a cocktail.

 

 

Directions

1. Pour a 1/4 oz. of rye whiskey and 1/4 oz of fresh squeezed lemon juice (or grapefruit juice if you have it) into a shaker filled with ice.

2. Transfer into a chilled coup glass, top off with Jaillance Cuvée Impériale Clairette de Die.

3. Garnish with a lemon twist and serve.
