2009 Cabernet Sauvignon - Merlot
Tasting Notes
The dark purple color with a dark ruby rim is eye catching. The aroma has the typical black fruit but also offers spicy nuances. The taste is layered with black fruit especially blackberries and black cherries followed by spices especially cloves. The smooth mouthfeel helps to make this wine drinkable without food. The finish begins fruity then yields to spices. The tannins are almost bold.
