Hampton Roads Region
The Hampton Roads wine region is home to two wineries. The region offers a rich heritage of American history. Jamestown, Colonial Williamsburg and Yorktown represent three centuries of our history. Travelers to the region have a wide selection of activities to choose from Busch Gardens to Norfolk and Virginia Beach. Millions of visitors visit the area yearly.
Chardonnay, Seyval Blanc and Vidal Blanc are popular white varietal grapes grown in the region. For reds Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Virginia's own Norton are choices for vineyards.
