Drink Local Wine Poster
by
Terry Sullivan
This poster was spotted at Lawton Ridge Winery during an August 2009 visit. Also mentioned on the poster is St. Julian Winery. Lawton Ridge is one of Michigan's smallest wineries producing about 2000 cases from the nearby owner's vineyard. St. Julian Winery is the largest winery in Michigan producing nearly 100,000 cases of wine using local fruit. Both wineries use Michigan fruit grown in the Lake Michigan Shore AVA.
