Vezér Family Vineyards
Vezér Estate
Terry Sullivan

Vezér Estate is the private domain of the Vezér family. Here amidst acres and acres of lush growing grapevines is the private family residence along with an elegant tasting room, patio, and event space surrounded by vineyards. Views are magnificent for Club Members who have a private, sophisticated tasting room where they can enjoy Vezér wines. The tasting room offers a warm wood glow atmosphere with several tables and comfortable seating. The barrel room can be seen through windows behind the tasting counter.

The vineyards consist of seven acres of Petite Sirah, two acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel each, 2½ acres of Petite Verdelho, and one acre each of Black Muscat and Merlot. We tasted Black Muscat grapes from the vine and they were delicious. You immediately notice the typical Muscat aroma and taste. The grapes were sweet and would make a great replacement for table grapes if not used for winemaking.

Frank Vezér took us on a tour of the vineyards. We stopped to taste Petite Syrah, a grape that does well in Suisun Valley. The views of the vineyards and surrounding countryside were impressive.

Vezer EstatePrivate events can be hosted at the estate location. The outdoor event area features a wide space with a fireplace in a corner. Statues, water fountain, oak barrels and vineyard views add to the ambiance of the area. Wedding or private event planners are welcome to rent the spaces. Rental includes beautiful views of the vineyards and surrounding hills as well as white folding chairs, round tables, a shuttle and more.

For more about the event possibilities, check the Vezér Family Vineyards website.
