Tin Lizzie Wineworks is a teaching winery where you can make wine under the guidence of an award-winning UCDavis trained winemaker. At present there is no tasting room and wine is not sold.
Customers, whether individuals or groups, can make a full barrel, 1/2 barrel or 1/4 barrel of wine.
During the fall harvest, grapes are mostly sourced from California.
During the spring harvest, garapes are sourced from South America.
Four sessions are scheduled throughout the year, although customers may come to the winery more often to preform tasks on their wine or in the winery such as punching down, wine analysis and cleaning barrels. The scheduled sessions last about one and a half hours.
Session 1: Crush and fermentation
Session 2: Press and fill barrel
Session 3: Rack and taste the wine
Session 4: Bottle and label
