American Music Theatre Description
The entrance to the American Music Theatre is appealing. To each side of the lobby, curved steps lead to the balcony. The balcony has additional shopping opportunities available before the music performance, during the intermission and after the event. A small food bar is set back tucked away from the main entrance. Food available includes fruit and hot drinks, large pretzels, popcorn and more. Inside the theatre the seats are set in a theatre style, with seating areas including the orchestra, mezzanine and balcony.
A Variety of Music Shows Throughout the Year at the AMT
This Lancaster music institution offers a variety of different show categories. Performances include Pop-Rock, Oldies, Country, Comedy, Classic Country, Broadway and AMT Original shows. American Music Theatre offers something for everyone.
Annual Christmas Show
Of particular interest to many people is the Annual Christmas Show. The show is an American Theatre original. The 2010 performance combined instrumental and vocal music. Each music selection was choreographed. Typically the shows run from the beginning of November until the end of December. The annual Christmas show is a popular event and tickets are available in advance online.

American Music Theatre Membership
American Music Theatre encourages memberships for anyone who wants to continue returning for more shows. The memberships are for 12 months at a cost of $75. Membership in AMT includes an automatic discount on AMT Original show tickets, the ability to purchase tickets before the public and a 20 percent discount on gift shop merchandise.
Group Attendance
Groups are encouraged to attend the American Music Theatre performances. For groups of 25 or larger, American Music Theatre designed a package deal of a performance and a meal at a local restaurant.
