Visiting a wine festival or event may be the perfect time to pick up a special bottle of wine for Thanksgiving Dinner. Below are a few events you can travel to and discover fun and a special wine.

Nov 20-21 In Missouri, six wineries will feature seasonal foods paired with wine on the Holiday Fare Wine Trail . Some of the foods to be paired with wines included Toffee Bars with Caramel, Sweet Potato Crisp and Roast Turkey Medallion with Tomato Apple Chutney.

Nov 19-21  Thunderbird Artists Fine Art & Wine Affaire in Phoenix, Arizona will offer visitors the opportunity to enjoy sipping wine, listening to music and viewing fine art.

Nov 17-21 7^th Annual San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival in San Diego, California This wine and food festival will have more than 100 wineries represented. Some international wines will be available.

Nov 18-20: Grand Rapids International Wine & Food Festival in Grand Rapids This festival presents something for everyone of legal tasting age. Visitors can enjoy and learn about wine, beer and spirits. Seminars are part of the festival. In addition food workshops will be presented. In 2010 according to the festival website, the festival will be “Introducing Les Champagne De Vignerons – a special champagne flight featuring “Growers Champagne” from the Champagne region of France.”
