The Croquet Invitational & Charity Auction 2011 on May 14 takes place at Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards in Windsor, California. Wine & food lovers and philanthropists will have a delightful time watching  professional croquet at The North American Open by The United States Croquet Association.

Guests will enjoy wines, a gourmet lunch, appetizers and mini-desserts. Two auctions are included in the event. The silent auction will have values between $500 and $2,500. The live auctions will feature vacations, sports and special wines.

According to The Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation® website, “The highlight of the live auction is the Adopt-A-Wish® lot in which all guests are invited to raise their paddles to help fulfill a child’s special wish.”

Tickets for this fundraiser are $200 a seat or a table seating 10 for $2,000. Several corporate businesses are already sponsoring the event.
