Chateau Chantal, a Michigan winery, along with other organizations including the Detroit Lions, is sponsoring the Halloween Charity Extravaganza. Troppo, an Urban Feast Restaurant in Lansing, Michigan is hosting the charity event on October 31 from 5pm until 12Midnight.

The purpose of the Halloween Charity Event is to help The Pink Boat organization reach its goal of donating $1 million to the Breast Cancer Research Foundations.

This Halloween Charity Extravaganza will include custom prizes, a raffle, auction and hors’doeuvres. Live music will be provided by Remix. Chateau Chantal is offering a six person VIP tour and tasting at Chateau Chantal for bidding.

According to the Pink Boat’s website, “The Pink Boat’s first goal is to raise $1 million for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Further, it is our hope this victory will spill over and help in the prevention and cure of other forms of cancer.” For those who cannot attend the Halloween event, a donation button is available on The Pink Boat website.

The Pink Boat organization is the idea of Thomas Watson, who owns the Pink Boat. Thomas’ trip for this goal involves traveling around the earth without stopping. He anticipates the trip will be 25,000 miles. His challenging journey is to start September 25, 2013.
