Secolari: a Boutique Olive Oil and Vinegar Tasting Room in Columbia

Last week was the official grand opening of Secolari, a boutique olive oil and vinegar tasting store located in the Mall of  Columbia’s outdoor area. Secolari had been in a soft opening for a few weeks but Valentine’s Day blue ribbon cutting ceremony included an array of foods and several wines to enjoy while browsing this unique store in Columbia, Maryland. Each tasty prepared dish had been created with one of the products available in the store.

Secolori Celebrates Grand Opening

Bart and Mary DeRosa, owners, were smiling broadly as they greeted visitors and cut the blue ribbon. People were greeted as soon as they entered, and thanked for coming when they left. Bart’s and Mary’s enthusiastic daughters were also on hand to help and assist wherever they could. Angelina and Erin are very involved in the family Secolari business. We noted that many people were purchasing Secolari products before they left. We purchased a bottle of Winter Ambrosia Vinegar and a small container of colorful Merlot Salt.

If you will be near the Columbia Mall, be sure to check out this unique store. Taste the extra virgin olive oils, flavored olive oils and vinegars. Secolari is a delightful addition to the stores at the Columbia Mall. I’m sure I will return looking for specialty items for myself and for gift giving.
