Chateau Chantal in Michigan

The holidays are about more than gift receiving and giving. While gifts are fun to buy, give and receive, for many people the holidays mean much more.

The WOMP Day of Giving reflects another side of the holidays. On Saturday, December 13, the Wineries of Old Mission Peninsula (WOMP) are helping to support nonprofit organizations in the region.

For one day, each member winery of WOMP will donate 15% of their gross sales to a Northern Michigan nonprofit. Some of the wineries are including tasting room and online sales. Chateau Chantal is one of the wineries including both avenues of purchase. Their donation will go to the American Red Cross, Northwest Michigan.

The Northwest Michigan American Red Cross helps many people including those who have suffered home fires, teaches lifesaving skills, offers blood drives and facilitates emergency communications for their members and their families.
