The USDA declared the month of December to be National Pear Month. Pears are one of the fresh fruits available during December. No wonder gift baskets often contain pears. This year we received a delightful gift basket by Harry and David that featured numerous tasty items including 10-12pears.
With only a couple days remaining in December, try this delicious and easy recipe for Pears in Red Wine. This is a family recipe that has been handed down.
