Tomorrow, June 6, is the beginning of Wine and Food Week in Texas. This annual charity and wine event will benefit the New Danville and Signatures (The John Cooper School Author Series.) According to the New Danville website, “New Danville is a self-sustaining, master-planned integrated community where adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities can Live, Learn, Work and Grow emotionally, socially, and spiritually with their non-disabled peers.”
The Signatures Author Series is offered by the John Cooper School. According to the school’s website, “The John Cooper School is an independent, non-sectarian, co-educational, college preparatory day school. The School’s mission is to provide a challenging education in a caring environment to a diverse group of select students, enabling them to become creative thinkers, responsible citizens and leaders, and lifetime learners.”
Both of these organizations will benefit from Wine and Food Week.
