If you like wine and cheese, the Berks County Wine Trail Artisan Cheese & Wine Pairing is a great event for you to attend.
The artisan cheese and wine pairing takes place October 7 and 8 at several wineries in Berks County, Pennsylvania. Eleven wineries will be participating. Those with tickets will be able to taste a selection of different styles of cheese paired with wines. The cheeses will be provided by I-Gourmet.
Tickets are available online. At each winery, designated drivers will receive a selection of cheeses with crackers.
Participating wineries and their featured wines for the event are below.
- Blair Vineyards (now Setter Ridge Vineyards) Chardonnay and Pinot Noir
- Calvaresi Winery Riesling and Autumn Rose
- Clover Hill Vineyards & Winery – Vidal Blanc and Spiced Apple Wine
- Kog Hill Winery – not announced yet
- Long Trout Winery – not announced yet
- Manatawny Creek Winery – Cabernet Franc and Riesling
- Pinnacle Ridge Winery – Vidal Blanc and Dry Vidal
- Ridgewood Winery – Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc
- Stone Barn Cellars Winery – a Noiret and Vidal Blanc
- Stoudt’s Winery – Concord and Raspberry
- Weathered Vineyards – Traminette and Pinot Gris
