Rare Wines at Wine Auction

La Tour D’Argent in Paris is looking to make renovations and make more room in the wine cellar for more recent vintages of outstanding wines. To do so they are auctioning off a portion of their wine cellar. According to the article “Historic Paris Restaurant Auctions Thousands of Bottles of Wine” by Jason Burke, in the guardian.co.uk, La Tour D’Argent would like to sell rare wines that will bring in one million euros. If the recession hasn’t taken a hit on your portfolio, you may want to attend this auction and bid on some of these rare wines that may go for as much as 3,000 euros. The auction will include a cognac from 1788.

If wine auctions are not an activity you enjoy, consider enjoying a dinner in a restaurant that dates back to 1582. Over the centuries French royalty have enjoyed the La Tour D’Argent cuisine.
