Yesterday, we enjoyed a wine called, Dedication Four 2007 produced by Cougar Crest Estate Winery in Walla Walla, Washington. Dedication Four was a blend of Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The aroma had nuances of fruit with hints of plum. The fruity finish was crisp with mild tannins. Suggested pairings included grilled chicken, grilled salmon and pizza.
Cougar Crest Estate Winery donates a portion of the sale of each bottle of the Dedication Four to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Cougar Crest is a family owned estate winery that produces Viognier, Grenache Rose, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon.
