The Piedmont Wine Trail in Maryland’s Baltimore and Harford counties is featuring a wine trail event this weekend. The event ,The Piedmont Wine Trail Goes Local, takes place July 31 and August 1 from 1-4pm.
Enjoy tasting Maryland wines and local food and crafts. Depending on the winery, visitors will have the opportunity enjoy arugula, sun-dried tomato and basil pestos, cheeses, gourmet baked goods and fresh vegetables. The Piedmont Wine Trail was founded in 2009. Currently seven wineries participate in the Wine Trail events. The wineries include Basignani, Boordy Vineyards, DeJon Vineyards, Fiore Winery & Distillery, Harford Vineyard & Winery, Mount Felix Estate Vineyard & Winery and Woodhall Wine Cellars.
