35th Annual Virginia Wine Festival

Have you attended the Annual Virginia Wine Festival at Bull Run Park before? This year on September 18 and 19th, the 35th Annual Virginia Wine Festival will take place at Bull Run Park’s Special Events Center. This annual festival features the best of Virginia with about 50 Virginia wineries attending and offering samples of their wines.

During the weekend enjoy entertainers including Over the Rhine, guitarist John Jorgenson,  Robert Jospe with John D’earth & Royce Campbell and The Woodshedders.

Want to learn more about wine? This annual wine festival is the place to do it. Be sure to participate in the free seminars.  The seminars will include Becoming Wine Savvy in 45 Minutes and Discovering the Aromas and Tastes in Wine-Experiments You Can Do at Home. Dave McIntyre from the Washington Post and www.drinklocalwine.com will present Holding a Successful Home Wine Tasting Party.

In addition to all of this, visitors to the wine festival will be able to browse numerous artisan creations.

Bull Run Park, located in Centreville, Virginia is part of the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority. The park offers a host of activities as well as special events. Activities include boating, hiking, camping, soccer fields and a waterpark. Anyone planning to attend the wine festival may want to make arrangements to spend a few days in the area and enjoy everything Bull Run Regional Park has to offer.
