Two Easy Recipes to Add to Thanksgiving Festivities

A Thanksgiving can be very exciting and delightful with family and friends gathering together. It can also be an extremely tiring day for the cook. Hopefully guests will volunteer to bring a side dish, dessert or appetizer. Sometimes someone will even roast and bring the turkey! To help the cook, below you will find two easy recipes that take only minutes to put together. Enjoy!

Cranberry Wine Cocktail

Ingredients

2 c rose wine (chilled)
2 c cranberry juice (chilled)
1 (6 oz) can frozen pineapple juice concentrate

Directions

In a 2 quart pitcher combine all ingredients. Pour over ice in wine glasses.
Makes 10 (4 oz) servings.

Classic Cranberry Wine Sauce

Ingredients

4 c fresh or frozen cranberries
1 c sugar
1 small orange, diced
1 t vanilla
1/2 c sweet red wine
2 oz. brandy (optional)

Directions

Combine all ingredients and bring to a slow boil.
Boil 10 minutes.
