A Thanksgiving can be very exciting and delightful with family and friends gathering together. It can also be an extremely tiring day for the cook. Hopefully guests will volunteer to bring a side dish, dessert or appetizer. Sometimes someone will even roast and bring the turkey! Cranberry Wine Cocktail
Ingredients
2 c rose wine (chilled)
2 c cranberry juice (chilled)
1 (6 oz) can frozen pineapple juice concentrate
Directions
In a 2 quart pitcher combine all ingredients. Pour over ice in wine glasses.
Makes 10 (4 oz) servings.

Classic Cranberry Wine Sauce
Ingredients
4 c fresh or frozen cranberries
1 c sugar
1 small orange, diced
1 t vanilla
1/2 c sweet red wine
2 oz. brandy (optional)
Directions
Combine all ingredients and bring to a slow boil.
Boil 10 minutes.
