From November 18 to November 20 the Niagara Wine Trail is promoting a special event to help food banks. The recipient of one-half of the proceeds from the tickets is the Food Bank of Western New York. One winner will have the other one-half of the proceeds donated to their food bank charity.
Entries are to be submitted at the last winery visited. More information is available at http://www.niagarawinetrail.org/pages/events.html .
Tickets include three tastings at each winery Each ticket is good for three days. Tickets are $25 before the event or $30 at the door. Tickets can be reserved online.
For the food banks to receive the most benefit, wine glasses can be purchased at the the first winery visited or ticket holders are welcome to bring their own wine glass.
This season enjoy visiting wineries on the Niagara Wine Trail while supporting food banks.
The Niagara Wine Trail, located in the Buffalo and Niagara Falls region, is comprised of 15 wineries. The wineries offer a variety of wines including wines made from vinifera, hybrids and native American grapes. Visitors to the wine trail will also find fruit wines and sparkling wines.
