Charity Case Foundation Creates Napa Valley Wines

A group of Napa Valley winemakers has worked together to create The Charity Case Foundation. The charity benefits Napa Valley families and children. This year the foundation will donate funds to Aldea Children & Family Services, Cope Family Center, Foster Kids Receiving Center and the Wolfe Center Teen Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program.

The wines for the foundation are created from grapes and juice donated by Napa Valley wineries and winegrowers. With no consulting fees and no salaries paid, a significant amount of the funds goes directly to the designated programs.

Two wines are now available: 2008 Napa Valley Rosé and 2009 Barrel Fermented Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc. A bottle of wine can be a perfect gift. Consider ordering a case of the wine for Christmas and holiday gifts. Decorate each bottle with a colorful ribbon and a festive note. The prices are reasonable for a bottle of wine: $11.99 per bottle and $143.88 plus tax and shipping for a case.

Unfortunately Charity Case Foundation does not ship to some states. You can check to see if the Charity Case Foundation ships to your state at http://www.charitycase.org/index.cfm?method=storeproducts.showlist&productcategoryid=c758cfda-c5b7-865a-c4f5-0d5a0f60e9aa .

What wine charity do you participate in?

Cheers! Kathy
