In February, 21 New Zealand wineries belonging to the Complexity group, are celebrating Waitangi Day with the 2^nd Annual New Zealand Wine Day on Saturday, February 4.  Wine enthusiasts around the world can take part in this wine tasting by doing a virtual tasting.

The wines included in the tasting are from eight New Zealand regions including Auckland, Hawkes Bay, Marlborough and Waipara. Waitangi Day is a New Zealand national holiday, which is celebrated on Monday, February 6.
Waitangi Day was established in the 1930’s to commemorate the signing of a treaty between the British Crown and Maori chiefs. The treaty signed in 1840 is one of the important documents in the establishment of New Zealand.
