Make plans to attend the 7^th Annual Lake Michigan Shore Wine Festival on June 16.

Lake Michigan Shore region is about 1.5 hours from Chicago and 4 hours from Detroit. At many of the wineries we heard that this area is a tourist attraction for visitors from Chicago who enjoy vacationing in the region. The Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail includes many of the local wineries but not all. When planning to visit this region consider visiting the wineries. Also plan to attend events.

On June 16, visit Michigan’s Weko Beach on Lake Michigan Shore to take part in the 7^th Annual Lake Michigan Shore Wine Festival. Enjoy the beautiful beaches and Michigan wines. The event takes place on Weko Beach. Live music will be provided by P.S. Dump Your Boyfriend, Cathy Richardson Band, JC Brooks & the Uptown Sound, Duke Tumatoe and Everyday People.

Enjoy a day at the beach in the sun with music, wine tastings and local restaurant foods.

Tickets are available online or at Harding’s Friendly Market ahead of time. Tickets will also be available at the festival.
