Wine and Butter-Sauteed Fresh Corn

Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 cup chicken broth
¼ cup dry white wine
4 ears fresh Supersweet corn, shucked and halved

Directions

  1. In a medium-size skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter.
  2. Add onion and garlic; cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add chicken broth and wine; bring to a boil.
  4. Add corn; cover and cook until corn is tender, about 5 minutes.
  5. Serve garnished with chopped parsley, if desired.
