Celebrate Texas Wine Trail Month During October

Texas Legato, Lampasas,TX

Wine trails come in all shapes and sizes. They can include large geographic areas or several wineries located within a few miles of each other. Some wine trails may include distillery visits or history sites.  If the wine trail has a website and prints advertising materials, there is likely a fee charged for each winery to belong to the trail. The fee covers development and updating of a website as well as printed materials that advertise the winery trail.  Wine trails offer the advantage of focusing on the wineries that belong, provide more publicity for them and coordinate activities between the participating wineries.

During October wineries have banded together in Texas Hill Country to celebrate the Texas Wine Month Trail. Thirty-six Hill Country wineries are participating in this month long event.

Choose the $25 ticket or the $40 ticket. The $25 ticket includes one to three complimentary tastings at each of the 36 wineries. Participants are also eligible for a 15 percent discount on three bottles of wine at all 36 wineries. The ticket can be used every day during October. The $40 ticket entitles participants to the above plus  attending the Texas Wine Month Kick-off Tasting  on Friday, October 4. Tickets to the Kick-off include 10 tastings, light appetizers and a wine glass.

Susan G Komen for the Cure

For each ticket sold, $5 will be donated to the  Susan G Komen for the Cure.

For more details and tickets be sure to visit the Texas Hill Country Wineries website.

Cheers, Kathy
