Braised Baby Artichokes-Roman Style

Ingredients16-24 Ocean Mist Baby Artichokes, rinsed & trimmed

1/3 cup olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup white wine
2-3 tablespoons lemon juice


1. In large skillet or saucepan over medium-high heat, heat oil; add garlic and cook and stir about 3 minutes.

2. Add baby artichokes and cook and stir until beginning to brown at edges, about 5 minutes.

3. Add wine and lemon juice. Cover and simmer until artichokes are tender, about 5 to 8 minutes. Lift out artichokes and set aside.

4. Increase heat and boil until liquid in pan is reduced to just a few tablespoons.

5. Spoon reduced liquid over artichokes before serving.
