Visiting the Wineries of New Jersey

Wine Flight at Mount Salem Winery

Wine Flight at Mount Salem Vineyards, New Jersey

At the invitation of the Garden State Wine Growers Association, we have spent two days visiting wineries and providing talks relevant to the wine industry. We have met numerous delightful people of New Jersey who have welcomed us with smiles and tastings of New Jersey wines especially those wines that are produced with grapes from New Jersey vineyards.

Our last visit to New Jersey wineries was a couple of years ago and upon our return to New Jersey, we have discovered wineries that have increased vineyards and production. Now that the state legislature has made things a little easier for wineries to ship wine, there is an excitement forming in New Jersey about the wines they can produce. New Jersey wineries are focusing on growing what will grow best and make the best wines that consumers will want to enjoy.

Over the next week or so we will be writing articles accompanied with photos about the wineries we have visited recently in New Jersey.

Look for new and updated winery articles about: Terhune Orchards, Hopewell Valley Vineyards, Old York Cellars, Mount Salem Vineyards, Beneduce Vineyards, Alba Vineyard and Unionville Vineyards.

Cheers, Kathy
