In celebration of the Kentucky Derby tomorrow, May 7, create this lovely Mint Julep made with 3 ounces of Seyval Blanc. The recipe is from LaBelle Winery in New Hampshire.
Seyval Blanc Mint Julep
Ingredients
3 oz LaBelle Winery Seyval Blanc
1½ oz Kentucky Bourbon (we like Maker’s Mark)
½ oz Simple Syrup
Fresh Mint Leaves
Directions
Muddle ice in the bottom of a shaker; place ice and all ingredients into the shaker and shake vigorously. Pour over ice into a highball glass and garnish with a sprig of mint.
