City Winery in New York City is an interesting urban winery. Here in the midst of a city that is awake 24 hours a day, one can find a facility that produces wine, has music events and even has the capacity for allowing others to make their own barrel of wine.

Social media is big and on November 8, City Winery will host Spit & Twit. City Winery is teaming up with WineTwits, WIRED, Riedel and Bottlerocket Wine and Spirit to created an interactive wine tasting. According to their website participants must have a mobile device and a Twitter account. Wines from around the world will be included in Spit & Twit.
