Gifts for the Wine Lover that Won’t Break the Bank: Candles, Soaps & Stoppers

For my final recommendation of economical holiday gifts for the wine lover, consider visiting a winery tasting room and spend some time browsing the gifts available. Many of the gifts are affordable.

The wine enthusiast will enjoy many of these gifts. Many are reasonably easy to ship to relatives and friends, especially in states that make it difficult to ship wine into or out of. Wine lovers may enjoy scented candles with scents that may include Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon or other common wine aromas. I’ve seen prices anywhere between $8 and $16.

Shoppers may want to look at scented soaps that are oftentimes found in winery gift shops. Look for soaps with scents of Syrah, Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon and others. These special soaps tend to be in the $4 and $5 range.

While shopping, keep an eye out for unusual bottle stoppers that might have a unique meaning for someone special. Wine stoppers come made of all types of materials and many are creatively made. We have been gifted with some unusual and beautiful wine bottle stoppers including one from Italy. It is a black rooster. The black rooster is a logo used in the Chianti Classico region in Italy.

Enjoy your shopping experience for the holidays.

Cheers! Kathy
