Have you made plans for Father’s Day yet? There are numerous wineries offering special events for dads. If you just want a laid back experience, visit your local winery for a wine tasting. Numerous wineries encourage visitors to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy with a bottle of wine from the winery. Check with the winery in advance about taking a picnic basket to the winery.

After tasting wines, purchase a bottle of wine for your Father. At many wineries you will find dry and sweet wines. Some wines will pair wonderfully with food. Other wines are perfect for sipping on a porch or next to the pool.
