Do you have a bottle of Pinot Noir to open next week?

The 2nd Annual Pinot Noir Smackdown is scheduled on August 18. This online event takes place for 24 hours to accommodate all wine regions of the world. The event hashtag is #PinotSmackdown.

This Pinot Noir event will use special hashtags that will indicate the region of your favorite Pinot Noir. For example for Oregon use the hashtag #OR, California use #CA and Italy – #IT.Other regions are also suggested.

On the website winetonite, 16 hashtags are suggested. Check the website for more details. In the meantime make sure to get a bottle or two of Pinot Noir wines. Invite a few friends over, prepare some appetizers, have fun and remember to Tweet.
