On Sundays, I like to write about wine and a charity. Today I am featuring the March for Babies. Meghan Sullivan who writes for Wine Trail Traveler is participating in the March for Babies, sponsored by the March of Dimes.
Meghan Sullivan writes a series of articles, “Wine and the Bible” for each issue of the Wine Trail Traveler Quarterly. She also visits wineries and writes articles about the experiences. Meghan knows first hand about the difficulties that many premature babies encounter. She was born 10 weeks early and realizes how fortunate she was to have survived with no problems resulting from prematurity.
Below is an email Meghan wrote about her fundraising effort to help premature babies. We hope you will consider donating to this worthy cause.
Cheers! Kathy and Terry
“Through the efforts of physicians and the prayers of family and friends, I was able to survive a traumatic birth. I want to give other premature babies the chance to fight for their lives, so I am participating in the March for Babies, sponsored by the March of Dimes. During my early childhood, I participated in research conducted by the March of Dimes organization. I would like to give back to the March of Dimes so that the organization can continue to conduct research and prevent premature births. Please consider supporting my fundraising efforts by sponsoring me in the March for Babies. The walk is in Springfield, OH, on Saturday, May 12th.
Contributing to my march online is fast, easy and secure. You can donate directly by visiting my personal webpage: http://www.marchforbabies.org/masullivan85.
With your support, we can help make a difference in the lives of premature babies.
Thank you for your consideration.
Blessings,
Meghan
